Daemi George just completed his Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering at the University of New Brunswick, Canada. And his journey to get there is already inspiring thousands online.
From Covenant University to Canada
Daemi shared his story on LinkedIn. He revealed he gained admission into Covenant University at fourteen — one of the youngest ever. Five years later, he graduated with a First Class Honours degree at nineteen.
Instead of slowing down, he pushed further. Two years of late nights, research, and hard work later, he walked away with a Masters from UNB at twenty two.
“It’s been a blessing that I’ve been able to make it this far,” he wrote. “I owe a huge debt of gratitude to my family for believing in me and leading me on the path which has culminated in this achievement.”
Gratitude and the next chapter
Daemi didn’t just thank his family. He shouted out his school community, friends from class, library sessions, campus associations, and even the basketball court for making the journey memorable.
Most importantly, he thanked God for being “an ever present help” through the Masters program.
His grind paid off. Malley Industries Inc have offered him a Manufacturing Engineer role starting June first. He’d already worked with them during two internships, so it’s a full-circle moment.
