NYSC Fixes July 9 for 2025 Batch B Stream I Passing Out

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced Thursday, July 9, 2026, as the official passing-out date for 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream I corps members across Nigeria.

The announcement was contained in a statement issued by the Director of Information and Public Relations of the scheme, Caroline Embu, and shared through the NYSC’s official communication channels.

According to the statement, activities leading to the passing-out exercise commenced on June 23, 2026. These activities include Job Advisory and Counselling (JAC) sessions organised by the NYSC and relevant partner agencies, registration and clearance processes by Local Government Inspectors (LGIs), as well as the signing of final clearance documents by Zonal Inspectors.

The scheme explained that the exercise would be conducted on a low-key basis nationwide and would culminate in the distribution of Certificates of National Service to eligible corps members at their respective local government areas.

NYSC emphasized that only corps members who have successfully fulfilled all requirements of the national service programme will be issued their Certificates of National Service.

The Director-General of the NYSC, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, congratulated the outgoing corps members and wished them a successful winding-up and passing-out exercise.

He also encouraged them to uphold the values of discipline, patriotism, selfless service, and national unity instilled during their service year while remaining worthy ambassadors of the NYSC in their future careers and personal endeavours.

The passing-out exercise marks the successful completion of the mandatory one-year national service programme for thousands of young Nigerian graduates across the country.
