Dangote Begins Free PMS Delivery to 11 States From Sept 15

Dangote Refinery Rolls Out Free PMS Distribution to 11 States.

Starting September 15, 2025, the Dangote Petroleum Refinery will launch direct delivery of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) to 11 Nigerian states. The initiative is part of a broader strategy to simplify downstream fuel distribution, reduce logistics costs, and ensure timely, stable supply across the country.

The refinery is eliminating middlemen by supplying filling stations directly, allowing for quicker access and more consistent pricing. With a gantry price of ₦820/litre, pump prices will be set at ₦841/litre in Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Ondo, Osun, and Ekiti, and ₦851/litre in Abuja, Delta, Rivers, Edo, and Kwara.

Registered fuel station operators will benefit from free delivery during this pilot phase. The project also introduces CNG-powered trucks, offering a cleaner, cost-effective solution expected to save trillions annually for Nigeria’s economy.

This marks a significant step toward improving fuel access, strengthening energy security, and transforming the nation’s petroleum distribution landscape.
