Nigeria is edging closer to achieving uninterrupted power supply, according to Minister of Power Adebayo Adelabu. Speaking at the commissioning of new facilities at the National Power Training Institute of Nigeria (NAPTIN) in Abuja, Adelabu emphasized the federal government’s dedication to stabilizing the power sector.
He highlighted recent progress, including record-breaking power generation and transmission levels, as clear indicators of the country’s trajectory toward 24/7 electricity.
“In no time, Nigeria will experience round-the-clock power. The signs are already here,” Adelabu confidently stated.
The commissioned project includes two training blocks, five modern workshops, and a 104-room hostel, aimed at strengthening capacity development in the sector.
