Okpara Tells Osimhen: ‘Man United Is the Next Step’ As Transfer Talk Heats Up
Former PSG defender Godwin Okpara has urged Victor Osimhen to pick Manchester United if he leaves this summer.
Okpara said the Super Eagles striker has proven himself in Belgium, France, Turkey, and Italy, and it’s time he tested himself in the Premier League.
“United would be a good place for him. He’s already shown what he can do across Europe. England is the next challenge,” Okpara said.
Transfer talk is picking up as the window approaches. Osimhen remains one of Europe’s hottest forwards after another strong season, and United are reportedly hunting for attacking reinforcements ahead of next season.
No deal is on the table yet, but Osimhen’s name will keep coming up until the window shuts.
If he moves to Old Trafford, he’d become the first Nigerian to wear the United shirt since Odion Ighalo’s loan spell ended in 2021.
